A First....

I am reading to my son's preschool class today!!! 

This is a first for me and while I read aloud everyday, several times to a class full of first graders, this audience today seems special. My little guy and his peers. My son, old enough to have a guest reader. My little monkey and his pals. His teachers. Oh, I had almost forgotten about them! 

I.am.nervous.

I'll be reading one of our favorites, Monster at the End of This Book. I feel like I can't go wrong with that one! I have so many what ifs though.

What if they have all heard it and get bored?
What if the teacher covering my own class can't cover it while I go?
What if T cries when I leave?

What ifs and all, I am really excited and so is he. Today is a special day. The first of many I hope! 

UPDATE! It was awesome! I had the best time. The kids LOVED the books (I took Eric Carle's Ten Little Ducks, too!) T was super excited and proud, which made me the happiest mommy in the whole wide world!!!
