Mommy and Daddy Time

Since becoming parents, mommy and daddy time is limited, to say the least! We try date nights and staying up for movies on the couch, but I do miss L and N time! I'm not talking hanky panky people-just fun grown up stuff-conversations, getting fired up about political nonsense and saying bad words about it, meals where we are not discussing our to do lists, etc! My friends are all in the same boat. I think it is time for us to head to Club Med Couple Resort!

I'm picturing the girls having manis and pedis while the boys go fishing. Then dinner on the beach (except me, not a big sand fan!) We could take walks, sleep late (ah!) drink wine, and smile.....a lot. Maybe this should be our 40th birthday celebration. The more I type, the more I am liking the idea of an all inclusive couples (I don't like to make any plans!) resort (peace and quiet.) Best friends-you know who you are, let's start planning and saving now! Could we do it? Just for a few days? I say YES! 

We can bring the grandparents back a very special treat! :)
